Processes transactions in the general areas of savings, loans, and auxiliary credit union services.

Demonstrate efficiency with financial transactions for checking, savings and borrowing.2. customers: receives funds, posts transactions and pays out funds as requested.3. Verbally confirm intended transactions with customer to assure needs are met and minimize redoing.4. Issues Traveler's Checks and money orders, receives currency for coin and verifies amounts, processes the redemption of bonds, cashes checks according to written procedures.5. Research, troubleshoot and resolve customer and internal inquiries regarding policies, practices and products.6. Receives loan payments and savings deposits from customer, addresses inquiries on accounts, records amounts and dates of payments and other significant information, checks customer calculations and validates checks and/or counts cash payments.7. Balances cash drawer daily to assure accuracy in transactions and notifies supervisor regarding any outages. Appropriately applying policies.8. Create and maintain a clean, neat, pleasant work environment by maintaining a professional look (i.e. dress, posture, attitude, etc.), positive outlook and behavior toward customers and co-workers.9. Assist other departments and branches with transactions as needed, provide support for the department and branch managers in fulfilling customer requests and merchant verifications.10. Must comply with all company policies and procedures, applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.## QualificationsKNOWLEDGE & SKILLSEducation/Certification:

A high school diploma or GED is required. Complete UCU certification requirements.Required Knowledge :

Basic knowledge of Credit Union operations.Experience Required:

Six Months to two years of similar or related experience.Skills/Abilities:

Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Well organized.

Attentive to detail.

Strong project management abilities.

Able to use related computer applications.

Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Must be able to operate routine office equipment including a computer, telephone, copier, and calculator. Must be able to routinely perform work on a computer for extended periods daily. Must be able to work extended hours whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance that aligns with the pacific time zone.Working ConditionsIf working onsite, must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with minimal noise.

If working remotely from a home office, must be able to work in a separate, quiet area, for extended periods on a computer.Mental and/or Emotional RequirementsMust be able to perform job functions independently or with limited supervision and work effectively either on own or as part of a team. Must be able to read and carry out various written instructions and follow oral instructions. Must be able to speak clearly and deliver information in a logical and understandable sequence. Must be capable of dealing calmly and professionally with numerous different personalities from diverse cultures at various levels within and outside of the organization and demonstrate highest levels of customer service and discretion when dealing with the public.
