Job Overview As the Lead Consultant for Life Insurance, you will be at the forefront of transforming our life and annuity services by applying your expert knowledge and insights. This role demands strong leadership, a robust understanding of life and annuity processes, and the ability to harness emerging technologies. Your primary goal will be to integrate AI and agentic AI into our operations, providing innovative solutions to our clients. You will also leverage your business development skills to cultivate strategic client relationships and drive growth. Key Responsibilities: Adapt and innovate methods and procedures to address complex challenges effectively. Align projects with the strategic vision as outlined by senior management. Make informed decisions while seeking guidance on more intricate challenges. Engage with supervisory staff, including both client and Accenture leadership. Develop innovative ideas and contribute to transforming them into market-ready solutions. Define and implement procedures for new projects, receiving appropriate guidance. Lead small teams or manage projects at client sites or within Accenture. Collaborate with teams to balance business objectives and technological capabilities, delivering value to clients. Fulfill roles in product management or as a product owner during consulting and technology implementation projects. Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time is essential. Basic Qualifications: 7+ years of consulting or industry experience with life and annuity carriers, particularly in technology integration and business process design. At least 3 years of experience in agile delivery, with a strong background as a product manager or product owner. Proven ability to identify, develop, sell, and lead consulting projects within the insurance industry. Strong problem-solving skills for crafting effective solutions, particularly in claims management. Foundational knowledge of AI and agentic AI, and their applications in life and annuities, including automation and predictive analytics. Demonstrated success in designing AI-supported workflows and collaborating with technical teams to implement solutions that adhere to compliance and ethical standards. Compensation Information: Compensation is competitive and varies based on factors like role, skill set, and experience level.
