We’re looking for an experienced and collaborative Civil Structural Architectural (CSA) Construction Superintendent in Cary/Holly Springs, NC who thrives when people are in sync and construction projects are running like they should. You’ll take the lead on daily scheduling and planning activities at the project site, and ensure the right materials, equipment and people are there to get the job done. Most importantly, you’ll take action to ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet. Responsibilities
Enforce site safety protocols and lead by example in promoting a safety-first culture.
Participate in weekly safety observations and audits per the project HSE program
Supervise and coordinate all CSA field activities including site prep, foundations, structural steel, architectural finishes, and building envelope.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, and safety standards. Collaborating in planning, design, construction and commissioning
Interface with subcontractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders to drive schedule adherence and resolve field issues.
Monitor progress and provide daily/weekly reporting to project leadership.
Support QA/QC inspections and ensure punch list items are addressed promptly.

Qualifications Here's what you'll need
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred; or equivalent years of experience in lieu of degree
At least 5+ years of construction site experience
Demonstrated working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, building systems/components and technology, contract management, project delivery methods, team building and client relationship building required
Pharma experience / GMP facilities / clean rooms experience is highly recommended
Strong knowledge of building codes, construction sequencing, and field coordination.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Proficient in use of software as Power Point, Excel, Word, Bluebeam
Experience with cGMP environments and cleanroom construction.
Experience on large-scale pharmaceutical, biotech, or life sciences projects strongly preferred.
Knowledge and experience with project turnover strategies from walk and punch to system turnover with the client for commissioning activities.
Knowledge and experience with implementation of LEAN strategies and technologies in project execution, including Last Planner System (LPS), Takt planning, (IAP) Interactive Planning Session.
