Responsibilities
Inspect electrical components and understand all aspects of the job
Diagnose and identify electrical issues in the field
Complete the required voltage and load test as required per job
Complete work orders on time
Complete required paperwork at the end of each day
Guide and oversee other apprentices or journeymen electricians
Attend scheduled company meetings
Will be in commercial and residential settings
Company Vehicle
Qualifications
Must reside within a 35-minute commute of our Boca Raton office (local candidates only).
Understanding of the N.E.C and local codes
Basic rough knowledge including boxing, running MC cable, bending EMT, relocating light fixture boxes, recessed cans, switch gear installation, etc…
Experience in 3-phase and various voltage systems.
Knowledge of materials to make material lists for various tasks/installations.
Competent with reading blueprints, drawings, & diagrams
Ability to bend and run conduit.
Test electrical systems and circuits to ensure they are functioning correctly and safely.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and make necessary repairs or replacements.
Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, or other components.
Driven and self-motivated
Exceptional communication and customer service skills
Clean Driver’s License
