Responsibilities
Collaborate with Customers, Regional Managers and Sales Representatives to acquire machine orders.
Manage all automated bending related customer projects and actively drive forward progress. Maintain overview of sales pipeline.
Technically consult customers and Sales in regard to automated bending solutions and feasibility.
Visit customer production sites to understand our clients demands and find the matching solution
Review and process machine orders, quotes and layouts
Maintain stock information and place orders according to order intake and defined stocking strategy
Continually analyze and improve the automated bending sales processes (incl. sales channels, demonstrations, part design and after-sales support) to ensure customer satisfaction and profitable market growth
Regularly review market trends, and recommend appropriate strategies, pricing for machines and associated services.
Maintain Sales tools and price lists for the automated bending portfolio
Work together with the training and the services department to ensure proper training of our customers and a seamless process and a good customer experience.
Promote automated bending products by creating and presenting product lectures, seminars and PowerPoint presentations.
Maintain overview of automated bending activities at satellite locations. Organize, host and/or assist in customer demonstrations, events, company tours and trade shows throughout the year
Assist with customer related special projects that include the integration of smart factory solutions to meet customer needs.
Travel as needed in USMCA 25%
Experience
Good organizational skills required
Ability to communicate patiently and diplomatically is mandatory.
Customer Service or sales experience preferred.
Must be familiar with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel and also SAP.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing industry is required.
High energy, willing to be part of a hardworking team.
High communication/presentation skills. Technical knowledge (for machine tools) preferred.
Experience in automated bending or manual bending is a strong plus.
Education College degree or equivalent education in a technical field preferred. Additional experience as mentioned above strongly desired. Knowledge of foreign language (Spanish, German) is a plus.
Salary Salary Range: $80,000 to $118,000
