
About the Role:

Job Summary: The Senior Employee Relations Specialist is responsible for developing and maintaining trust between the organization and its employees. This role will manage investigations end-to-end across the US and Americas while helping to maintain the processes of a global Employee Relations function. You’ll work closely with People Partners and Employment Counsel to deliver fair, consistent and well-documented outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Investigation Management: Conduct thorough investigations into employee complaints and grievances, documenting findings and recommending appropriate actions.
Risk Assessment: Partner with People Partners and Employment Counsel to assess risk, ensure consistent practices, and guide sensitive employee matters.
Conflict Resolution: Mediate and resolve employee disputes, providing guidance and support to both employees and management.
Policy Implementation: Assist in the development and enforcement of HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with labor laws and company standards.
Employee Engagement: Promote a culture of open communication by facilitating employee feedback sessions and engagement initiatives.
Training and Development: Conduct training sessions on conflict resolution, communication skills, and performance management for staff and management.
Collaboration: Work closely with HR team members to support talent management, performance reviews, and organizational development.
Reporting: Prepare reports on employee relations trends and issues, providing insights and recommendations to leadership.
Advisory Role: Serve as a trusted advisor to managers and employees on employee relations issues and best practices.
Compensation and Benefits: S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $64,320 to $116,429.25. Final base salary will be based on location, experience, skill set, training, licenses and certifications.
In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
5-7+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2+ years specializing in employee relations or workplace investigations in the US.
Strong investigative interviewing, analytical, and fact‑finding skills.
Deep understanding of US employment law and compliance requirements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clear, defensible investigation reports and the ability to influence stakeholders and functions.
Proven problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Proficiency in HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite.
