Overview
Vocational Rehabilitation Specialists, Inc. (VRSI) is seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Employment Specialist (LES) to join our Seattle team supporting Veterans through the Department of Labor’s Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program (HVRP). This leadership role is responsible for overseeing office operations, supervising Employment Specialists, ensuring program compliance, and driving performance outcomes related to veteran enrollments, placements, and retention. Responsibilities
Supervising and supporting Employment Specialists Overseeing case management, employment planning, and documentation Ensuring grant compliance and performance benchmarks are met Coordinating outreach efforts and community partnerships Supporting job readiness training and employer engagement Monitoring program metrics and reporting requirements Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, counseling, or related field (preferred) At least 1 year of leadership experience 2+ years in workforce development, veteran services, or human services Experience working with veterans or homeless populations strongly preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Compensation & Benefits
$27–$32 per hour (based on experience) Paid holidays, PTO, and sick time Application
