The Pricing Analyst will perform quantitative analysis of Build of Materials (BOM), cost, bookings/billings, etc. by utilizing complex Excel formulas and Excel Templates. Coordinate with Product Managers to understand their pricing strategies and provide pricing recommendations. Maintain pricing files for their specific product lines and update as needed. Perform various back up duties to Pricing team members and the Pricing Manager. Essential Responsibilities
Review and analyze customer special requirement requests on Request For Quote (RFQ) for quotation closure using established product line pricing rules Review and analyze for accuracy of MRP’s bill of material and router used for standard cost; coordinate with Cost Accounting and/or Operations to correct errors Establish estimated cost based on BOM from excel configurator or similar to part build up and Costing Template Critique book pricing, market pricing, and/or target pricing based on standard/estimated cost for quote closure within margin authority Provide pricing, delivery, special charges, and all required information to Contract Analyst for completion of LTAs Accountable for quote cycle time goal for both primary responsible products and supporting (backup) products Responsible for Pricing Group email management and correspondence with customers and sales representatives Review current quotation process, create templates to be utilized by Pricing Specialists for quotation closure Coordinate with Pricing Specialists to recommend changes and optimization strategies to lean our quotation process Develop, critique, and implement price curves ensuring regional pricing rationale and minimization of regional pricing arbitrage situations Participate in, or sometimes manage, multi-functional ad-hoc projects around pricing and product related business needs Position Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance or Similar 3 years of experience demonstrating problem solving ability in collaboration with functions such as Marketing, Customer Service, Finance, Engineering, and/or Operations 2 years of experience in a direct analytical capacity Baseline financial review capability Competency in Excel (Use of Pivot Tables to clearly state your findings / ability to write Macros is a plus) Understanding of financial review Familiarity with MRP and / or computer systems or equivalent Safety is a core value at ITT.
