We are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Executive Assistant to support a senior Human Resources executive at a well-established, professional organization in Chicago.
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned EA who enjoys being a true partner to leadership and contributing beyond traditional administrative responsibilities.
About the Role This position will provide comprehensive executive support while also assisting with key HR-related projects and initiatives. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage complex calendars, scheduling, travel coordination, and expenses
Serve as a trusted right hand to a senior HR leader
Coordinate meetings and communications across internal stakeholders
Support HR initiatives such as invoicing, ordering, and department projects
Assist with employee milestone programs and team logistics
Anticipate needs, problem-solve, and handle priorities independently
Act as a collaborative and approachable member of the HR department
Qualifications
Approximately 10–15 years of total professional experience
8–10+ years of Executive Assistant experience preferred (minimum 6 years required)
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Exceptional attention to detail and professionalism
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a service mindset
Work Schedule
Hybrid role based in Chicago
In-office presence required several days per week
Standard business hours with flexibility to stay later as needed
Compensation
Base Salary:
$115,000 – $130,000
(dependent on experience)
Competitive overall compensation package
