Job Description:
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, organized self-starter who will be responsible for all-encompassing Property Lease Management of their assigned portfolio of properties.
Core Functions:
Responsible for overseeing all leasing functions including renewals, negotiations, pricing, lease drafting, tenant/resident correspondence.
Assist with transitions of new accounts and subsequent project related duties.
Ensure data is updated accordingly in respective shared folders for visibility and transparency across teams.
Work cohesively with Property Managers and Property Accountants on variety of account management tasks.
Entering leases, updating data/accounts in Yardi and reviewing RR reports.
Ensure all RS leases are in compliance per DHCR guidelines including applicable riders and literature to be included; ensure fair market leases follow same accordingly.
Correspond and communicate with tenants/residents regarding late rental payments, issues with returned checks, complaints, etc.
Renew lease agreements in accordance with guidelines.
Expedient lease drafting for vacancy leases (for brokers/agent and tenants alike).
Prepare Annual Rent Registrations.
Ad-hoc projects and duties as needed.
Requirements:

Ability to work well under pressure and effectively multi-task
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effectively work autonomously
Minimum 2 years property management/leasing experience
Experience with 421-A, J-51 component; experience with variety of subsidies including DHCR (experience mandatory), NYCHA, HPD, Section 8, SOTA, HRA, CityFHEPS, etc.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
