About The Team The New Verticals team is building the future of local commerce through expanding our product offerings on our marketplace platform. The Retail Strategy & Operations team has expanded into industries such as pets, beauty, flowers, office supplies, home improvement, and apparel.

About The Role As we scale our Retail business, we’re hiring a few Associates to support key strategic initiatives, including merchandising & selection. You’ll expand our retail offering via selection expansion and make it seamlessly shoppable for customers. You’ll own the end‑to‑end merchandising lifecycle from trend identification to on‑platform placement, collaborating closely with Marketing, Product, Shopex, Growth, and Analytics to test, measure, and scale initiatives that increase traffic and GOV.

You’ll be an individual contributor in a hybrid model with occasional in‑person collaboration. Since we hire multiple retail team members, you will be considered for multiple roles throughout the interview process, and we will align you with the best fit after the interview.

You’re Excited About This Opportunity Because You Will…

Strategize: Map selection whitespace by retailer type, geography, and category to unlock product availability for our customers.

Operate: Stand up 0→1 pilots, build dashboards, manage week‑over‑week KPIs, and scale winning concepts.

Analyze: Build models using Excel and SQL to evaluate expansion opportunities and prioritize the next bets.

Build: Translate sales‑cycle and GTM needs into requirements and co‑lead product feature development.

Lead & influence: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams and external vendors to unlock partnerships, growth, and quality, scaling retail presence nationwide.

We’re Excited About You Because…

1‑3+ years of experience in highly analytical, cross‑functional environments (tech, operations, strategy, consulting, banking, or related).

Strong ownership mindset: You seek opportunities to improve work, own outcomes, and scale learnings through playbooks and SOPs.

Entrepreneurial spirit: Bias for action and building things from the ground up.

Data‑driven: Comfortable pulling data in SQL and building Excel models to win arguments.

Adaptable: Constantly chase new tools and AI applications for efficiency.

Comfortable at both macro and micro levels: Thrive in detail while thinking long‑term and inspiring teams.

Unafraid of ambiguity: Excited by rapid change, learning, and creativity in a startup environment.

Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related discipline.
