Job Details
Key Responsibilities and Duties
Operate pallet trucks, fork trucks, and overhead cranes
Prepare outgoing shipments via truck, air, rail, and ocean freight
Perform data entry for shipping records, tracking numbers, freight details, and inventory movement
Enter and maintain accurate information in logs, spreadsheets, and internal systems
Inspect incoming materials for defects, damage, or shortages and document findings
Organize equipment tagging, shipping labels, special markings, and shipping photographs
Complete quality checklists and digital documentation for shipments
Coordinate assembly skids with the production schedule
Use Microsoft Outlook and Excel to update and track shipment information
Work in both office and warehouse environments
Bend, stoop, climb ladders, and lift up to 50 lbs
Qualifications Needed
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of shipping experience
Strong background in data entry, recordkeeping, and accurate documentation
Proficiency with pallet trucks, forklifts, and overhead cranes
Experience preparing shipments via truck, air, rail, or ocean
Ability to manage shipping workflows and maintain accurate digital records
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Preferred: SAP experience, inventory control, load planning, and quoting
