ECHO is adding to our growing sales team! We are searching for a Strategic Account Manager to focus on our Commercial Account Program. This remote role requires up to 50% travel. The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000 based on experience and qualifications. Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with ECHO’s strategic accounts, with a focus on Commercial Account Program members. Serve as the primary point of contact for all key accounts and programs. Drive strategic growth through acquiring state contracts and other government procurement programs including Sourcewell. Collaborate with distribution partners to track program activities, share updates, and ensure accurate reporting across channels. Create and execute tailored plans to strengthen relationships with top-tier landscaping clients and identify new business opportunities including upselling/presenting new products. Work cross-functionally and with sales teams to drive strategic account success and growth. Actively develop new account relationships through outreach, training, and product demonstrations. Perform product demonstrations to large commercial end users to drive sales through local dealers. Lead strategic account participation in national and regional trade shows, customer events, and industry activities. Provide training and support for regional and national accounts. Demonstrate expert knowledge of ECHO products and competitive offerings. Support sales programs and marketing initiatives to enhance brand presence and market share. Execute and adhere to company programs, policies, and procedures. Maintain company property in good condition. Safeguard confidential information to protect the organization’s value and integrity. Travel up to 50% to engage with customers and partners. Other duties as assigned. Job Experience/Skills
Field Sales or Account Management experience preferred. Adept knowledge of all company products, especially outdoor power equipment (trimmers, chainsaws, backpack blowers, etc.). Prior landscaping experience a strong plus. Valid driver’s license Required to pass background check. Mechanical aptitude required. Ability to meet physical demands of the job: Capable of maneuvering and lifting 50 lbs. Occasionally maneuvering up to 100 lbs. Sitting while driving for extended periods of time. Ability to stoop, kneel or crouch. Polished presentation and effective communication skills. Self-motivated and the ability to work independently within a sales team structure. Ability to make good business decisions. Proficiency with MS Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Ability to manage a fast-paced work environment. Conflict resolution skills: Managing and resolving conflict in a positive way. Ability to maintain confidentiality of proprietary company information. Education
Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience Travel
