Join us as a Sales Account Manager in a role focused on existing installation (EI) services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. Responsibilities
As an Existing Installation (EI) Sales Account Manager, cultivate relationships with customers to drive sales for elevator and escalator services, including maintenance, repairs, and upgrades; ensure high levels of customer satisfaction; identify and pursue sales opportunities; manage exiting and new customer accounts; and retain customers. Customer Account Management: Build and manage favorable client relationships within a designated sales territory to secure and renew service agreements; handle inquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution with a focus on revenue generation; meet regularly with clients to understand their business requirements and develop solutions; manage accounts receivable to ensure timely payments. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders; partner daily with the Field Superintendent and technicians to drive lead generation and ensure an excellent total customer experience from initiation through delivery. Sales & Opportunity Identification: Identify and pursue sales opportunities through key customer contacts and industry information; qualify needs to secure profitable solutions leveraging company products and services; introduce new technology and related services to customers, illustrating their value. Negotiation & Strategy: Negotiate contract terms favorable to the company while delivering on customer requirements; develop and implement sales strategies aligned with product strategies and market conditions with minimal supervision. Documentation & Compliance: Prepare estimates and communicate proposals; maintain accurate customer records in accordance with company procedures; ensure compliance with established policies and procedures. What You Bring
Bachelor’s Degree 2 years B2B sales experience in the elevator or related industry Customer Account Management (5-10 years): proficient in building and managing client relationships, handling challenging inquiries, and focusing on revenue generation Negotiation & Strategy (5-10 years): experience negotiating contract terms and developing sales strategies aligned with customer needs and Schindler values; adept at addressing objections Sales & Closing Skills (5-10 years): proficient in closing deals and independently identifying and pursuing opportunities; experience introducing new services and technology Effective communication with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction and achievement of sales objectives Leadership (5-10 years): ability to guide and support junior sales account managers; collaboration with Field Superintendents and technicians on quality improvement Effective presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Strong communication, negotiation, objection handling and closing skills with a proven sales track record Ability to empathize, listen, and build strong customer relationships Excellent Time Management, Organizational Skills, and Problem Solving Abilities Motivated, resilient, and customer-focused mindset aligned with Schindler’s values Experience with SAP and a results-driven mindset for a competitive sales environment Ability to handle a mix of office and fieldwork, with travel flexibility and managing customer interactions What’s in it for you?
