Overview
The Real Estate Services Department (RESD) is seeking temporary Public Service Employees (PSEs) to support a time-sensitive data validation and cleanup effort related to the department’s Archibus system. These positions are intended to assist with special projects and temporary workload increases as part of a broader initiative to improve data accuracy, reporting reliability, and operational efficiency. Under general supervision, incumbents will perform data entry, validation, and reconciliation tasks, as well as provide basic administrative support to a team of Real Property Agents. Job Duties
Primary Responsibilities (Data-Focused): Entering, reviewing, and validating data within the Archibus system Reviewing records for accuracy, completeness, and consistency Identifying, documenting, and reconciling data discrepancies Supporting department-wide data cleanup and verification efforts Assisting with special projects related to data validation and reporting Secondary Responsibilities (Administrative Support): Processing internal communications Coordinating low-level administrative tasks Providing general administrative support to Real Property Agents and department staff
Office Title:
Public Service Employee (PSE) are extra-help, non-regular, limited duration positions classified as a Public Service Employee (PSE). The successful candidate shall be considered at-will throughout the term of their employment, and will not attain regular status.

The Real Estate Services Department (RESD) is a full-service commercial real estate organization providing San Bernardino County and Board Governed entities with comprehensive expert real estate services. RESD aims to deliver exceptional technical expertise, negotiation skills, administrative services, and client responsiveness to internal clients and external partners.
Conditions of Employment
Public Service Employee:
These are extra-help, non-regular positions classified as a Public Service Employee (PSE). The successful candidate shall be considered at-will throughout the term of their employment, and will not attain regular status. This position will participate in the County's Deferred Compensation Plan and is not eligible for benefits through San Bernardino County. Pre-Employment Process:
Prior to appointment, applicants must undergo a background investigation, which includes fingerprinting and a pre-employment physical. Sponsorship:
San Bernardino County is unable to consider candidates who require Visa Sponsorship at this time or in the future. Candidates must be able to present their legal right to work in the United States at the time of employment.
Experience and Education
Experience:
Six (6) months of full-time equivalent experience performing clerical, administrative, data entry, or records-related work, including basic proficiency with computers and common office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or similar systems). Education:
High school diploma or GED

Experience working with databases, asset management systems, or enterprise systems Prior experience in a real estate, facilities, property management, or government office environment (preferred, but not required) Ability to work with large volumes of records while maintaining accuracy and consistency Ability to follow instructions, meet deadlines, and manage repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to identify inconsistencies or errors in data and apply corrective actions Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team
