About the Role:

The Floating Part-time Teller plays a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service across multiple branch locations by efficiently handling a variety of financial transactions. This position requires adaptability and flexibility, as the teller will float between branches to support fluctuating staffing needs and ensure seamless banking operations. The primary goal is to accurately process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and other teller transactions while maintaining compliance with banking policies and regulations. Additionally, the teller will assist customers with inquiries, promote bank products and services, and contribute to a positive branch environment. Success in this role directly impacts customer satisfaction and the overall operational efficiency of the bank.

Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a cash handling or customer service role, preferably in a banking environment. Basic knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations. Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail. Ability to work flexible hours, including the possibility of floating between multiple branch locations. Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working as a teller or in a financial institution. Familiarity with banking software and teller systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Bilingual skills are a plus. Responsibilities:

Process routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments accurately and efficiently. Float between assigned branch locations to provide teller coverage and support as needed based on staffing requirements. Deliver excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing information about bank products and services. Maintain compliance with all banking regulations, policies, and procedures to ensure the security and integrity of transactions. Balance cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts and report any discrepancies promptly. Promote and refer customers to appropriate banking products and services to support branch sales goals. Collaborate with branch staff to ensure smooth daily operations and a welcoming environment for customers.
