Key Responsibilities:
Foster strong connections with both individual and institutional members
Regularly communicate with members, updating them on benefits, activities, and addressing their inquiries
Implement effective retention and outreach strategies
Collaborate with leadership and communications teams to develop and distribute engaging member newsletters
Create recognition programs and initiatives designed to enhance member engagement
Analyze membership data and metrics to boost retention rates
Partner with leadership on the preparation of annual reports and board materials related to membership trends
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree
3+ years of professional experience in membership engagement, customer relations, or a related field
Experience within higher education and associations is essential
Proficiency in Salesforce or other CRM systems is required
Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
Exceptional time management abilities
Candidates for this position must be based in the DC, MD, or VA area or have independent plans for relocation.
