Job Summary Acrisure is seeking an Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager is the primary day-to-day contact for all service needs for both external and internal customers. They are accountable for facilitating team service deliverables and managing accurate, efficient, and effective responses. This role requires subject matter expertise in client services and coordination, accurate insurance processing and customer experience delivery.
Responsibilities
Manages the overall team operations, client coordination, and customer service delivery. Includes coordinating, coaching, and prioritization assistance with Account Associates, and reviewing and managing the workload.
Leverage knowledge in client services, insurance processing and customer experience to develop, coach, and assist Account Associates and other team members.
Assist Producers and Account Executives with client service commitments.
Ensure service standards are met, identify trends, and implement process improvements on the team.
Serve as the day-to-day customer contact, focusing on troubleshooting issues and helping the client make well-informed decisions.
Manage the new business and renewal process, and oversee day-to-day client changes.
Be accountable for client service delivery through high/increased client retention, account rounding, referrals, and uneventful renewals.
Ensure pre-renewal information is sent within service standards and follow up for timely responses; coordinate with insurance markets for quotes.
Manage renewal marketing plans with Producers and Service Teams; create accurate proposals/deliverables for renewal meetings.
Review quotes for accuracy against supporting documents; negotiate additional coverage/price with underwriters.
Complete renewal bind processes and checklists accurately and document all renewal aspects.
Ensure files are accurately documented to minimize E&O exposure and enable quick client requests responses.
Requirements
Current Insurance License in Property & Casualty for the state of the agency location.
Ability to work toward professional designation.
Comfortable in an electronic environment with strong computer skills; proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Excellent people skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Education and Experience
High school diploma (college preferred); Bachelor’s Degree in a Business or related field OR equivalent relevant experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience within the insurance industry or related business experience.
