$75,000 – $95,000(Employment Status: Salary, Exempt) Job Overview:
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) is responsible for managing daily opportunities and projects within the lighting division for a manufacturer of high power, commercial, and industrial grade lighting systems. Responsibilities and Duties: Review and understand project drawings and written specification. Manage daily task list to ensure project quotations are submitted on time as required by the customer. Provide customer service to outside sales agents, distributors, and end users on active projects. Work with the general manager to determine the best product from company portfolio to offer on any given projects, what margins to apply and any exceptions, exclusions or notes to be included in the project quotation. Work with Product Management to develop knowledge, understanding and expertise in products sold and supported. Ensure quotations are accurate and clearly documented. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (BA or BS) or 5 years minimum relevant experience Experience in a customer service or sales field Experience working in a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software like Insightly, Salesforce or others. Ability to understand 2D project drawings and plans (Civil, Electrical and/or architectural) Ability to understand technical concepts. Experience reviewing, understanding and performing takeoffs of civil and or architectural plans is a plus.
