
Overview
The Account Manager at AMX Logistics is responsible for managing, retaining, and growing a portfolio of customer accounts by delivering exceptional service and expanding freight volume within existing relationships. This role serves as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and is accountable for increasing revenue by identifying and securing additional freight opportunities while ensuring efficient and reliable transportation solutions. Responsibilities
Serve as the primary liaison between AMX Logistics and assigned customer accounts Manage day-to-day customer needs, including load execution, rate management, and service coordination Develop and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through consistent communication and responsiveness Proactively grow revenue by expanding freight volume, lanes, and services within existing customer accounts Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to deepen customer partnerships Collaborate closely with operations, sales, and carrier partners to ensure timely and cost-effective freight movement Monitor account performance, service levels, and KPIs to ensure customer satisfaction and retention Resolve customer issues and escalations in a timely and professional manner Negotiate rates, contracts, and service expectations in alignment with company objectives Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, agreements, and account activity within internal systems Stay informed on market conditions, industry trends, and customer supply chain needs to anticipate opportunities Qualifications
Demonstrated ability to grow revenue within existing accounts Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills Ability to manage multiple accounts in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS), CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office Knowledge of freight brokerage, trucking, or logistics operations preferred
