F Street Lending is the private lending arm of F Street. We provide bridge loans and short-term financing solutions for real estate investors across the country. Our loan servicing portfolio is growing rapidly, and we\'re looking for detail-oriented accounting professionals to join our team.
We\'re seeking an organized, detail-oriented Accounting & Servicing Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on loan servicing operations, payment processing, collections, and investor reporting. You\'ll be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring timely communications with borrowers and investors, and supporting our loan portfolio\'s financial health.
What You\'ll Do
Process and track loan payments, payoffs, and draw requests
Manage borrower communications regarding payment schedules, late notices, and account inquiries
Perform monthly loan reconciliations and investor distributions
Handle collections activities including late payment follow-ups and default management
Generate loan servicing reports and investor statements
Maintain accurate loan records in servicing software
Assist with loan boarding and setup for new originations
Process insurance and tax escrow payments
Support year-end tax reporting (1098 and 1099 preparation)
Coordinate with legal team on loan modifications and workouts
What It Takes to Win
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field preferred
1-3 years of experience in loan servicing, collections, or mortgage operations
Strong understanding of loan accounting and amortization schedules
Experience with loan servicing software (LoanPro, Sagent, or similar) a plus
Proficient in Google Workspace, Microsoft Excel, and general office software
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
Strong communication skills for borrower and investor interactions
Ability to handle sensitive financial information with discretion

Compensation Salary: $60,000 - $65,000 (based on qualifications and experience), plus company performance bonus(es).
