PrimeTalent’s client is a locally owned property management company based in Kansas City, managing residential apartment communities throughout the metro. They are seeking an experienced
Property Manager
to oversee daily operations, resident relations, and property performance across one or more residential communities.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, balancing operations with people management, and taking ownership of their properties.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned residential properties
Serve as the primary point of contact for residents and vendors
Manage leasing activity, renewals, and resident communications
Coordinate maintenance requests and work closely with maintenance staff
Conduct property inspections and ensure units and common areas are well maintained
Handle resident issues professionally, including conflict resolution and lease enforcement
Track rent collection, delinquencies, and follow established follow-up procedures
Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation
Ensure compliance with fair housing laws and local regulations
Collaborate with ownership and leadership on operational needs and improvements
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in residential property management preferred
Strong knowledge of leasing, resident relations, and property operations
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable handling resident issues and difficult conversations
Proficiency with property management software and Microsoft Office
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
