Primary Responsibilities The Sales Solutions Specialist is responsible for the execution of sales solutions, assessing store for sales growth opportunities, and maintaining store partnerships. The Sales Solutions Specialist will maximize sales through innovative product placement and presentation and responsible for executing store solutions activities and completion of all store sets. Work schedule is Monday through Friday - Hourly position starting at $21.00 to $24.00 based on experience.

Essential Functions

Execute on the design decisions of senior management with a sense of urgency

Analyze product movement and provide valued suggestions to increase sales

Develop sales presentations to educate store personnel on mutually beneficial product placement that increases sales revenue and drives customer traffic

Present and sell latest trends

Conduct store sales surveys prior to any new store, reset or re-merchandising; manage store proposals and drive new item PODs, maximize exposure to customers, and increase sales revenue

Supplement sales strategy in conjunction with sales leaders across the organization

Innovate and implement plan-o-grams, educational aids, and merchandising techniques to drive customer traffic and sales revenue through visual presentation

Impact sales revenue by influencing placement of products

Manage all aspects of presentation and successful roll-outs of new merchandise including communication and execution with store

Communicate with customer merchandising teams, store personnel, merchandising manager and KeHE personnel on a timely basis regarding project planning and status

Control credits by managing overages, shortages, and mis-picks

Execute day-to-day completion of sales and merchandising activities

Create and develop strong store relationships to generate key selling objectives

Cost management of business expenses

Vacation and route coverage for Sales teams

Knowledge of product/categories, and merchandising techniques

Foster a cross-functional environment with clear expectations and transparency

Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude

High school diploma/GED required (Associate degree preferred)

Outstanding communication (both verbal and written) and relationship management skills with people at all organizational levels

Ability to prioritize workload to have the most significant impact on customer satisfaction

Proficient in using Excel, Access, Cognos, PowerPoint, and other similar tools

Prior experience in food industry and/or code sensitive product environment preferred

Demonstrated ability to identify long-term issues, develop and implement strategies to address those issues, and link shorter-term activities to these strategies

Demonstrated proficiency in attention to accuracy and detail

Demonstrates the competencies of financial acumen, collaboration, courage, sense of urgency, and effectively managing complexity

Ability and willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends

Ability and willingness to travel 80% of the time by air and stay overnight to support the requirements of the position

Follow established KeHE policies and procedures to accomplish the above accountabilities

Other duties and special projects as requested
