About the Role
A growing logistics company based in Greenville, SC is seeking a bilingual German/English Business Development Representative to support international client growth. This role focuses on developing and managing relationships with German-speaking clients who prefer working with native-language professionals. This is a remote, commission-only role, ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with strong international business communication skills. Identify, pursue, and close new logistics clients in Germany and German-speaking markets Build long-term relationships with international shippers and manufacturers Serve as the primary point of contact for German-speaking clients Communicate client needs clearly to internal operations teams Maintain an active sales pipeline and consistent outreach cadence Ideal Client Profile
You will focus on companies that are: Small to midsized businesses Operating in automotive, aerospace, or machinery industries Actively importing/exporting between Asia and Europe Shipping on a weekly or bi-weekly cadence Qualifications
Native or fluent German and professional fluency in English Experience in business development, sales, or international logistics preferred Strong understanding of cross-cultural business communication Highly self-directed and comfortable in a commission-only environment Ability to work remotely and manage your own schedule Compensation
Commission-only compensation at 10% per closed deal No base salary outside of legally required minimum wage standards during the initial 6-month to 1-year period Potential opportunity for a base salary after the initial period (amount TBD)
