
We’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our boutique interior design studio in Los Angeles, CA.
We’re a small, collaborative team working on thoughtful, high-end residential projects across the country. The right candidate is organized, design-focused, and eager to grow within a creative environment that values initiative and attention to detail.
Hybrid: 1 day in-office + site visits as needed
Part-Time: ~20 hours/week (flexible based on project needs)
Requirements:
Must live in LA and be available to drive to local site visits 1.5+ years at a high-end interior design firm Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar drafting programs Must have a car and a valid driver’s license Responsibilities:
Develop detailed design documentation, including furniture plans, elevations, perspectives, and millwork drawings using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar software Prepare clear and comprehensive spec sheets and paint schedules for contractors Review FF&E selections, verify dimensions, and check shop drawings for accuracy Collaborate with architects, contractors, and fabricators; communicate design intent under the guidance of Principal Designers Conduct site visits for measurements and project documentation Attend client and site meetings; take detailed notes and compile follow-up action items Create client presentations, including design boards and floor plans Assist with the procurement of furnishings, fixtures, and materials across multiple projects using the firm’s digital database Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or related field (preferred) Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to travel to project sites and vendor locations as needed Reliable, proactive, and self‑motivated
