This role is your chance to help shape the visual storytelling of a brand redefining patient care. From surgeon testimonials and clinical explainers to high-impact event recaps, you’ll create videos that not only inform, but inspire surgeons, patients, and partners worldwide.
Role Description
As our in-house Video Editor, you’ll own the full post-production pipeline—from ingesting raw footage to delivering polished, platform-ready content. You’ll collaborate with marketing, product, and clinical teams to transform complex science and brand messaging into dynamic, emotionally resonant videos for web, social, events, and paid campaigns. This is a hands-on creative role that also carries a process-building element: you’ll be responsible for maintaining an organized media library, developing templates, and ensuring every asset aligns with our premium brand standards. Key Responsibilities
Edit and assemble raw footage into compelling, high-quality videos for social media, web, events, and internal training. Apply motion graphics, text overlays, and animation to enhance storytelling. 25% Motion Design & Animation Create animated product explainers, lower thirds, intro/outro sequences, and graphic treatments in After Effects. Incorporate medical illustrations, diagrams, and data visualizations where needed. 15% Color, Audio, & Finishing Color grade to maintain a cinematic and brand-consistent look. Mix and clean audio, ensuring professional sound quality across all deliverables. Maintain a structured, searchable media library. 10% Media Management & Templates Build reusable editing templates, presets, and style guides to speed up production. Assist on-site with filming during events, surgeon interviews, and BTS shoots. 10% Content Capture Support Set up lighting, audio, and camera equipment when needed. Qualifications
2–6 years professional video editing experience (agency, in-house, or freelance). Short-form social edits (15–60 seconds) Story-driven brand or product videos Motion graphics and animated explainers Expert-level proficiency in: Photoshop & Illustrator (for graphics integration) Bonus: Procreate or equivalent for quick illustrative assets Strong understanding of pacing, visual composition, and narrative flow. Ability to translate complex, technical topics into engaging visual stories. Meticulous file management, version control, and naming conventions. Excellent communicator—able to take feedback from marketing, medical, and executive stakeholders.
