Media Producer

This role supports firm leadership, partners, and top-tier clients through seamless virtual and in-person events, including high-visibility engagements in New York. Who We\'re Looking For…

Tyson & Mendes seeks an outgoing and detail-oriented Media Producer with a keen eye for using media assets to amplify brand identity. This role reports to the Brand Manager and works closely with all members of the firm’s Growth & Client Engagement team, as well as the firm’s partners, attorneys, clients, and other internal stakeholders.

The Media Producer must be a skilled video editor and must demonstrate expertise in producing both digital and in-person events, including webinars and client-facing events requiring collaboration with venue media teams. In addition to building and editing video assets (including short-form and longer-form videos and prerolls), this person is responsible for producing seamless virtual and in-person events, coordinating with internal and external event planning teams to proactively and efficiently identify and address media needs, and serving as a support to firm leadership in virtual and in-person events.

Job Functions

Responsibilities

Work directly with Growth & Client Engagement team and attorneys (including firm leadership) to ensure in-person and virtual events are set up for success

Collaborate with internal event planning teams and external vendors to ensure media needs are proactively and appropriately addressed

Handle technical and other production aspects of virtual and in-person events

Control the webinar interface and platform (Zoom) including uploading slides/material (including preroll) for delivery during the live session and testing slides/materials in the platform for quality assurance

Familiar with all popular webinar platforms to troubleshoot technical issues for presenters as needed

Provide facilitator acclimation training prior to the start of a session on the features of the platform required for presentation (advancing slides, using the pointer, going back a slide, etc.)

Ensure all equipment is tested and functioning properly for all T&M events

Assist with troubleshooting the presenters’ environment (backdrops, lights, audio, camera, etc.) and translating firm vision to reality

Attend webinars at which T&M attorneys and partners are presenting as needed

Understand, order, and manage all technological equipment and inventory

Track participant attendance and engagement during sessions to provide feedback to the facilitator during the session, including tracking prizes and giveaways

Thoroughly read and respond to emails in a timely fashion

Understand and communicate the differences between all popular webinar platforms and their software capabilities and/or workarounds

Conduct research as necessary for new events, assets, or components

Leverage expertise in various presentation software, virtual broadcasting software, and in-person presentation production to suggest innovative ways to drive new client events and amplify brand identity

Occasionally attend professional development meetings and report information to firm leaders

Create and edit video assets, including for social media, websites, events, and other needs as they arise

Stay updated on industry trends, products, and software

Qualifications / Requirements Requirements

Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in computers and technology, marketing, media production, or a related field, or sufficient work experience in lieu. Proficiency in full suite of MS Office. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of Zoom and Teams, with experience and proficiency in WebEx, On24, etc. Successful candidates will have strong client development and communication skills, excellent time management, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. This role requires regular, in-person support for New York City–based events.

Compensation & Benefits

The hourly pay range of $43 - 46/hour, depending on experience

Overtime paid at 1.5× the regular hourly rate, as needed
