Job Description NSF is looking for a creative and results-driven
Global Senior Marketing Specialist
(Hybrid Ann Arbor) to join our Food division. In this role, you will be working on marketing campaigns to reach a broad spectrum of audiences in the food supply chain from primary production to consumers, covering a range of certification/audit-related services to enable organizations to continually improve, with an emphasis on food product claims. You will help drive business growth by executing marketing initiatives aligned with global and regional strategies, with a focus on North America. You'll collaborate with the Global Senior Marketing Manager and business stakeholders to deliver impactful campaigns that resonate across diverse markets.
Responsibilities Strategic & Regional Alignment
Partner with the Global Senior Marketing Manager and regional teams to implement, execute and continuously optimize the Food marketing plans that align with sales objectives and local market needs.
Participate in global calls and collaborate across time zones to support international initiatives.
Manage defined marketing KPIs (e.g. MQLs, pipeline contribution, engagement, conversion), tracking performance against targets and recommending corrective actions when needed.
Campaign Development & Execution
Execute integrated digital campaigns across email, paid media, SEO, and social platforms.
Create compelling content for LinkedIn, email campaigns, and customer-facing materials.
Support production of webinars, podcasts, and video content to amplify brand messaging.
Support go-to market planning for new or evolving services, including messaging, launch assets, and regional enablement.
Content & Creative Collaboration
Work with design teams to develop visual assets and marketing collateral that meet brand standards.
Manage translation workflows and ensure localization for regional markets to adapt messaging for diverse audiences.
Analytics & Optimization
Use CRM and marketing automation tools (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce) to build and qualify lead pipelines.
Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and optimize for engagement, conversion, and ROI using dashboards and analytics tools.
Update marketing plans with insights and track campaign progress.
Events & Sales Enablement
Assist in planning and executing global campaigns, trade shows, and virtual/in-person events.
Support local sales teams at key events and develop sales tools that add value.
Market Intelligence & Innovation
Conduct customer research and competitor monitoring; report trends and recommend updates to segmentation and messaging.
Explore new channels, partnerships, and collaborations to expand reach and build the sales pipeline.
Translate customer insights, market trends, and competitive intelligence into clear recommendations for segmentations, positioning and campaign prioritization.
Campaign & Program Ownership
Support managing end-to-end global marketing campaigns, from planning through execution, optimization, and post-campaign analysis, following the global marketing plan.
Act as marketing lead for assigned programs or solution areas, coordinating timelines, and stakeholders.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or related field.
3-5+ years managing multi-channel marketing campaigns, ideally in a matrix organization with an international footprint.
Experience in natural foods, nutrition, consumer health, or TIC (Testing Inspection and Certification) sectors (B2B preferred), with experience in certification.
Strong digital marketing skills across social, email, and customer-facing content.
Proficient in CRM, marketing automation (e.g., Pardot, Salesforce), Canva and MS Office.
Skilled in analyzing campaign performance and optimizing for ROI.
Expertise in translation workflows and culturally adapting messaging for global markets.
Proven ability to collaborate across regions and time zones with cultural awareness.
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills; able to tailor messaging for diverse audiences.
Strong cross-functional teamwork with regional teams and sales.
Ability to conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform marketing strategies.
Highly organized, proactive, and results-driven; an interest in Food & Wellness.
Capable of managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
Capable of writing content such as webpages, flyers, social media, etc.
Willing to travel (~10%).
