We establish the Footwear Creative Direction for our brand, using a deep understanding of guests’ needs, cultural references and the science of feel solutions to create innovative products that address unmet needs. Our team works collaboratively across the color design, material design, footwear design and 3D design functions and is dedicated to cultivating a culture of continuous learning and growth where designers are empowered to push boundaries and unleash their full potential.

core responsibilities The Color Designer at lululemon defines color trends and palettes by activity and applies color to the assortment. The designer reviews color, provides direction and partners with merchandising and design to drive concepts from vision to reality.

Research and apply color to product, elevating the business and supporting class growth.

Partner with design and merch teams to drive design forward while protecting base volume business.

Be the expert in the product category, aware of competition and market leads to help drive category business with a global reach.

Provide visual line plan by color to guide and inform merch buys.

Bring design work to life by applying color that is right for its class and fit for the material.

Complete the head‑to‑toe look so that guests can create their own capsule outfit relevant to the palette in apparel.

Produce color vision for assortment, ensuring head‑to‑toe completion.

Manage workflows within the concept department.

Deliver expert knowledge and insights to craft and product class.

qualifications

3+ years minimum industry experience is required.

BA, BFA or BS in Design required (or equivalent).

Proficient in Adobe Suite, Excel, Word and the Mac platform.

An understanding of 3D design would be a benefit.

compensation and benefits package lululemon's compensation offerings are grounded in a pay‑for‑performance philosophy that recognises exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from

$91,400 - $120,000 USD

annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program and

equity offerings , subject to program eligibility requirements.
