RAYNOR INC. is seeking an ambitious

Outside Sales Representative

to be located in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

The Outside Sales Representative will prospect and generate new commercial business as well as perform cold calls in the field to generate new permanent sales. The ideal candidate should be able to support existing clients and have an ability to conduct product demonstrations. The qualified candidate will be assigned a territory to maximize sales potential and help build sales. Selling will involve visits to project sites and client offices with the purpose of bringing in new business. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing income and revenue by managing clients, generating leads, qualifying prospects, and managing sales of products and services.

Responsibilities

Identify leads, manage prospects and acquire new business

Maintain and develop weekly schedule for cold call and prospect visits.

Meet established goals for territory development and sales quota

Work prospects through the entire sales cycle, including developing new leads, educating prospects, and turning qualified leads into long term customers.

Conduct daily prospect activities to generate leads and create deals.

Coordinate and maintain win-back strategies for existing customers

Meet monthly sales goals and quotas.

Provide customer support throughout sales process.

Survey job site requirements and generate sales quotations in a timely manner.

Manage accounts to retain existing relationships and grow share of business.

Create quotes and sales proposals for company services.

Independently generate new sales revenue.

Translate business opportunities into incremental revenues through strong selling.

Consistently meet or exceed goals set by senior management and prepare reports when required.

Maintain confidentiality of company information.

As primary contact for our customers, you will be responsible for managing the personal relationship between the customer and our company. Strong communication skills, and previous customer service or sales experience is a must.

The scope of the Outside Sales Representative will change based on business needs and market trends.

Skills and Experience

2+ years experience in cold calling sales with strong track record of success.

2+ years experience in territory sales and business development.

Experience in developing and executing territory sales strategies.

Strong presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals.

Prior work history of commission-based income from sales.

Entrepreneurial attitude, competitive and confident personality.

Ability to develop long term relationships.

2-3 years sales experience; repair/construction industry experience preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Word, and Outlook).

Prior use and knowledge of Customer Relations Management (CRM) systems (ex. Salesforce).

The ability to comprehend and analyze data.

Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to sales & service issues.

Must be adaptable to the changing needs of clients.

In-depth knowledge of customer products and services.

Desires a fast-paced dynamic work environment.

High initiative and high energy

License

Valid driver’s license required and clean driving record (required).

Background and Drug Screening

All candidates must undergo a background check and drug screening.

Required Travel

80% Travel

Education

Bachelor's degree in business or marketing. A combination of education and work experience is acceptable with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in construction/service or equivalent industry.

Hours

Full-time position of 40+ hours Monday through Friday. Occasional hours may include evenings and weekends.

Competitive Salary (based on experience).

A competitive commission structure. Commission income is not capped.
