
Overview
In this role, the Product Marketer is responsible for defining, articulating, and activating KnowledgeLake’s product value in the market. This position sits at the intersection of product, sales, and marketing and plays a critical role in driving product adoption, supporting revenue growth, and strengthening KnowledgeLake’s competitive positioning.
The Product Marketer translates complex product capabilities—spanning AI, machine learning, automation, and cloud content services—into clear, compelling messaging and go-to-market strategies. You will partner closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success to ensure our solutions resonate with target buyers and are effectively enabled across the organization.
Responsibilities
Develop and own product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for KnowledgeLake’s solutions across target industries and personas
Lead go-to-market planning and execution for new product launches, enhancements, and feature releases
Translate technical product capabilities into customer-focused narratives that emphasize business outcomes and optimization
Partner with Product Management to deeply understand the roadmap, customer needs, and competitive landscape
Create and maintain core product marketing assets including pitch decks, solution briefs, messaging frameworks, case studies, and website content
Enable Sales and Customer Success teams with the tools, training, and messaging needed to confidently sell and expand KnowledgeLake solutions
Support sales cycles through competitive intelligence, objection handling, and differentiated positioning
Collaborate with Demand Generation and ABM teams to ensure product messaging is consistently reflected across campaigns and programs
Gather and synthesize customer, sales, and market feedback to continuously refine positioning and messaging
Measure and analyze the effectiveness of product marketing initiatives and optimize based on performance insights
Position Qualifications The following are the minimum qualifications an individual needs in order to successfully perform the duties and responsibilities of this position.
Location St. Louis, MO candidates preferred with ability to work in-office 3 days per week
Education Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience
5+ years of experience in product marketing, solutions marketing, or a related B2B marketing role
Experience working closely with Product Management and Sales teams in a B2B SaaS or technology environment
Proven experience leading go-to-market initiatives and product launches
Skills/Abilities
Strong positioning and storytelling skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
Experience developing sales enablement and customer-facing materials
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and ability to influence without authority
Analytical mindset with experience using data and feedback to inform messaging and strategy
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
Highly organized with strong project management capabilities
Physical/Visual Activities or Demands In general, the following physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. These include extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and communicating with internal teams and external partners.
This role may require occasional travel (up to 25%) to support customers, partners, and key business initiatives.
