Interior Designer
who’s excited to contribute to dynamic interior and exterior projects from concept to completion and grow alongside a collaborative, fast-paced design team. If you thrive in a fast paced, design-build environment and want to see your work come to life in front of millions, Salem can do that.
Responsibilities
As an Interior Designer, you’ll play a hands-on role throughout the full design process, creating thoughtful, visually compelling solutions for some of the world\'s biggest brands on stages including Professional Golf Events, Formula 1 racing, and many others.
Your work will directly support project teams, business development initiatives, and company-wide design goals.
Developing
3D concepts, floor plans, elevations, and construction documents
Translating ideas into
clear, engaging visual presentations of elevated interiors
Applying strong
spatial planning
and design principles to interior (and some exterior) environments
Selecting, sourcing, and documenting
FF&E, materials, and finishes
Preparing
mood boards, inspiration boards, and sample decks
for client presentations
Collaborating in
internal design reviews
and cross-departmental project teams
Participation in
project site visits
to ensure designs are buildable, practical, and well-executed
Keep up with design trends and materials to continuously sharpen your creativity
What You Bring (Qualifications)
A solid foundation in
interior design principles
and the ability to apply them to real-world projects
Proficiency in design and rendering tools such as
SketchUp, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
Strong multi-tasking skills for a fast-paced environment
A collaborative mindset with the confidence to contribute ideas and take initiative
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree
in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
1-3 years professional experience is preferred, not required

Work Environment & Details
Full-time, in-office position based in
Winston-Salem, NC
Occasional overtime or weekend work depending on project needs
Minimal travel required
Must be at least 18 years old and hold a valid driver’s license
