The Role We’re seeking an experienced Copywriter to help bring our clients’ missions to life through compelling, donor‑centric storytelling. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the ideation, creation, and development of content that supports direct response fundraising strategy across print, direct mail, digital, and social channels.
Working in a collaborative, team‑based environment, the Copywriter reports to the VP, Creative Directorand partners closely with strategists, designers, and data analysts to ensure creative is both emotionally resonant and performance‑driven.

Key Responsibilities
Conceptualize and write donor‑centric copy that supports direct response fundraising strategy
Develop content across print, direct mail, digital, and social channels
Partner with strategy and data teams to align creative with performance goals
Present creative rationale and intent clearly and confidently
Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining quality and consistency
Apply best practices in direct mail and digital advertising
Contribute ideas that challenge assumptions and elevate creative output
Experience & Capabilities
8+ years of professional copywriting experience; agency experience preferred
Demonstrated experience in direct response fundraising
Strong understanding of print production and direct mail
Familiarity with best practices in digital advertising and fundraising channels
Ability to vary messaging and tone across audiences and nonprofit sectors
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Curious, nimble, and solution‑focused mindset
Collaborative team player who builds strong working relationships
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
Portfolio with relevant fundraising and copywriting samples
Experience in direct response fundraising (required)
