Business Development Specialist

to help drive growth, build strategic relationships, and bring our breakthrough optical switching technology to the world’s most advanced computing environments. As a

Business Development Specialist , you will play a pivotal role in expanding iPronics’ customer base and forging partnerships across the AI and data center ecosystem. Your responsibilities will include: Lead Generation & Prospecting

Identify and research potential clients including hyperscalers, AI infrastructure builders, and data center operators. Use LinkedIn, market intelligence tools, and industry reports to develop a qualified pipeline. Relationship Building

Initiate and grow relationships with technical leaders, procurement teams, and executives. Schedule intro calls, demos, and meetings to present iPronics’ optical circuit switching solutions. Market Research & Analysis

Track trends in optical networking, AI scaling, and hyperscale data center infrastructure. Provide insights on competitors, customer needs, and emerging technologies. Support the creation of tailored proposals, pitch decks, and demo materials. Work closely with engineering and product teams to articulate technical value in business terms. Follow up on inbound and outbound leads via email, webinars, and events. Qualify opportunities and support the full sales cycle from first contact to closing. Events & Conferences

Represent iPronics at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events across AI, datacenters, and photonics. Reporting & Metrics

Maintain accurate BD activity records in CRM tools. Track pipeline metrics, conversion rates, and opportunity progress. Partner closely with the Business Development Lead to refine outreach strategies, brainstorm new approaches, and contribute to team targets. What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field. 1–4 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar role. Experience in optical communications, networking, semiconductor, or AI/hardware sectors is a plus. Strong entry-level candidates with high potential are encouraged to apply. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to simplify and communicate technical concepts clearly. Familiarity with hyperscalers, cloud providers, or AI infrastructure trends is a plus. Comfortable working with CRM tools, Office suite, and research platforms. What We Offer
