You have enough technical "flavor" to talk the talk, but your real strength is translating complex water issues into clear business ROI for the client as tools to build trust, create value, and close deals. Superior Water Services is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow new B2B business across the North Georgia industrial and commercial market. This role is designed for someone who thrives on autonomy, competition, and ownership — not hand-holding.
What You’ll Do
Own the Territory — Prospect and develop new B2B customers through direct outreach, networking, referrals, and market intelligence
Build and manage your own pipeline from first conversation through signed agreement
Target industrial, commercial, and institutional facilities that rely on mission-critical water systems
Win New Business — Lead consultative sales conversations with owners, plant managers, facility managers, and mechanical partners
Translate water-treatment challenges into business outcomes, risk reduction, and long-term value
Own the entire sales cycle. You don't get bogged down in the weeds; you keep the deal moving toward a "Yes" by managing the relationship, not just the specs, maintaining momentum, and close with confidence
Drive Growth Strategically — Identify untapped verticals, key accounts, and long-term growth opportunities
Work with internal technical teams to scope solutions — without getting lost in the weeds
Maintain disciplined CRM activity and accurate forecasting
What We’re Looking For
This is a hunter role.
If you rely on inbound leads or need a tightly scripted process, this won’t be a fit.
5+ years of B2B business development or outside sales experience
Proven success selling into industrial, mechanical, facilities, or infrastructure-driven environments
Comfortable initiating conversations with senior decision-makers
Strong business judgment, urgency, and follow-through
Able to operate independently and manage a territory like it’s your own business
Experience in industrial services, water treatment, HVAC, mechanical contracting, or building systems
Experience selling long-term service agreements or recurring-revenue solutions
