About the role
The
Junior Designer, Interior Design
supports the interior design team in the development and delivery of design projects across all phases. This is an entry-level role ideal for a recent graduate who is passionate about interior design, eager to learn, and excited to contribute to both the creative and technical sides of the design process. Working under the guidance of senior designers, you’ll assist with design concepts, documentation, material selection, and coordination, gaining hands-on experience within a collaborative, design-led studio environment. What you’ll do
Support the development of design narratives and storytelling across projects Assist with conceptual design, documentation, and material selection Research imagery and references to support design direction Develop physical and digital sample boards, mood boards, FF&E, and finishes boards Support the preparation of rendering packages and review draft visuals with senior guidance Create 3D representations, plans, and elevations for client presentations Assist with plans, elevations, specifications, and material schedules in line with OBMI standards Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers and help maintain the in-house materials library Participate in project coordination, meetings, and consultant collaboration Who we’re looking for
Recent graduate with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture Strong interest in hospitality and/or residential design Intermediate skills in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and 3D tools such as SketchUp or Rhino Working knowledge of Revit (proficiency preferred but not required) Basic understanding of FF&E, finishes, sanitaryware, and hardware Curious, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative team Strong communication, organization, and time management skills Why OBMI
