What You’ll Be Doing:

Provide marketing and business development leadership while partnering closely with firm leadership, regional offices, and technical teams operating under a seller-doer model.

Develop and execute marketing strategies, corporate initiatives, and client-focused capture planning efforts.

Lead market research, competitive intelligence, and client development strategy to support growth and positioning.

Drive early project identification, relationship building, pre-positioning, and pursuit strategy development across regional and national opportunities.

Provide oversight and leadership for proposal development, ensuring high-quality submissions, effective win strategies, and adherence to deadlines.

Coach and mentor technical and marketing staff on proposal strategy, presentation development, and client engagement best practices.

Strengthen internal and external relationships with clients, partners, and industry organizations to enhance firm visibility and brand recognition.

Develop and maintain performance tracking metrics related to pipeline development, opportunity tracking, backlog forecasting, and marketing ROI.

Ensure consistent brand messaging, communications strategy, and collateral quality across both digital and traditional platforms.

Oversee marketing data management, CRM utilization, and digital asset organization.

Support onboarding and training initiatives related to business development, networking, and client engagement.

What We’re Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Architecture, or a related field.

8+ years of marketing experience within architecture, engineering, or construction industries.

Strong experience leading pursuits, capture planning, and proposal development strategies.

Proven ability to manage marketing teams, initiatives, and deadlines within fast-paced environments.

Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market intelligence into actionable business development plans.

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.

Experience working with CRM platforms (Deltek Vantagepoint or Vision strongly preferred).

Experience with digital asset management platforms such as OpenAsset is highly preferred.

Excellent writing, editing, storytelling, and communication skills with strong attention to detail.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across technical teams, leadership, and external partners.
