
DISTRICT SALES MANAGER (CO, KS, MO, IL, AR)
ABICOR Binzel USA, Inc., a welding equipment manufacturer,
is recruiting for District Sales Managers for the territory covering CO, KS, MO, southern IL, and northern AR. Must live within the territory!
At ABICOR Binzel we provide a complete product line of air and water-cooled MIG, TIG, and Robotic welding torches suitable for any welding application. Our products are ISO-certified to ensure the highest standards of quality and reliability. We also provide numerous welding accessories and innovations, including seam tracking, fume extraction, and laser guiding, that protect and improve your welding needs.
We are looking for a District Sales Manager to grow sales in
territories within these states
through sales programs, strategies, and policies.
A DSM is expected to be confident and proficient in the features, benefits, and best applications for our products to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of our end users.
Candidates must live within the territory.
Essential Functions
Develops a thorough understanding of the Company’s products, features, benefits, and value to the customer in order to accurately and effectively present this data to end users.
Work with Distribution (primarily Welding Supply Distributors) to develop them as partners and agents for Abicor Binzel
Develop and follow up on leads to gain market share
Occasionally attend and work trade shows and fairs. This includes local distribution open houses
Utilize Salesforce to keep records of all activities and new opportunities. Salesforce is the primary reporting software utilized by the sales team.
Prepare and submit bi-weekly expense reports. Each DSM will use personal finances and be reimbursed.
Meet or exceed sales targets that are developed by the DSM in conjunction with the Director of Sales.
Work independently to manage a schedule that maximizes the effectiveness of the DSM to hit sales targets
Ensure all assigned equipment and property is maintained and kept in satisfactory condition
Operate and behave in an honest and ethical manner whenever acting as an agent of ABICOR Binzel
Timely response and actions to email and phone calls
Be familiar with the welding process and the industry in general; possess mechanical and electrical knowledge. Be able to read and have some understanding of technical specifications.
Good communication skills, both internal and external to Abicor Binzel.
Must be a self-starter who does not require direction or motivation every day to complete tasks.
Qualifications
Sales experience within our industry (welding) or similar is required!
Welding knowledge, critical
Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Valid driver’s license with a good record.
Must be able to obtain a passport, if required.
Computer-literate with a working knowledge of MS Office
Punctual to appointments and commitments.
Follow through on all promises and commitments.
Honest and ethical
Must be able to travel 80% (note: not all travel will include overnight stays)
Comply with all current Company policies in particular the Vehicle & Expense policies
