
Overview
Meta is seeking a motivated Strategic Partnerships Director based in North America to work with some of our most important and complex partners on high priority product workstreams. This role will be responsible for building and managing relationships with payment service providers, networks, financial institutions, fintechs, and other key partners to enable seamless payment experiences for Meta’s users and products. This role involves navigating complex payment ecosystems, managing all aspects of strategic partner relationships, collaborating with external and internal teams, and driving decisions to optimize our global business. Responsibilities
Establish a deep understanding of the payments ecosystem and partner landscape, and map our industry strategy accordingly. Identify and assess market opportunities, evaluate potential partners and drive new workstreams forward Develop, manage, and grow relationships with some of our most strategic partners. Drive initiatives from inception to launch and scale by leveraging C-suite relationships and strong internal partnerships Negotiate and sign partner contracts. Work closely with legal, finance, privacy, and other key stakeholder groups to get deals done that drive value for all parties Minimum Qualifications
15+ years of experience in payments Track record of building and leading projects with internal and external partners, including other tech companies, payment processors, payment networks, fintechs and local payments providers Experience building and leading projects with internal and external partners, including other tech companies, payment processors, payment networks, fintechs, and local payments providers Capacity to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously Demonstrated experience executing in a fast-paced environment with several internal cross functional teams and external stakeholders at all levels Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills Experience in partnerships management, including relationship building, business development, negotiations, and contract signing Bachelor’s degree Preferred Qualifications
