In the North America GTM Strategy team, we work closely with internal business leaders to glean their knowledge, incorporate data and information from external sources, and develop our own insights to inform and drive change across our sales organization. As the Sr. GTM Strategy lead in North America (NAMER), you will lead the development and execution of AWS’ NAMER commercial sales strategy. You will Dive Deep into customer segments, the customer journey, AWS adoption, best practices, and financial performance. You will then Think Big to create compelling strategic recommendations for your sales executives that apply these learnings at scale. Leveraging your experience and insights, you will lead impactful multi‑year sales strategy initiatives across your Geo. You will work closely with your sales executives to author and evolve both short‑ and long‑term strategies to meet their business objectives. Finally, as part of the global AWS Sales Strategy team, you will work with counterparts from other Geos and the worldwide team to scale best practices and innovation to other parts of our organization.

Key job responsibilities

Act as a strategic advisor to NAMER Sales leaders, leveraging data and analyses to develop business insights, develop GTM strategies, and scale the business.

Proactively analyze business trends to turn data into insight in order to improve business performance.

Develop and execute strategies for some of the newest and most innovative offerings in the AWS portfolio.

Work directly with the models / data. Craft large data sets utilizing the technical tools needed to create with them.

Formulate simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, and collaborate with a range of internal stakeholders to develop practical execution plans.

Project‑manage multiple workflows and communicate complex analytical results, both written and verbal, in a clear and easy‑to‑understand way.

Basic Qualifications

7+ years of sales, business or corporate strategy experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Computer Science, or a related field

Experience in sales operations or sales strategy in a mid‑to‑large‑scale tech company

Experience conducting sophisticated and creative analysis of complex data and translating the results into actionable deliverables, messages, and presentations

Experience in multiple organizational functions such as compensation, forecasting, organizational development or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

Experience delivering complex, data‑driven recommendations to senior leaders

Experience working within a high‑growth, technology company

Master’s degree or equivalent

USA, GA, Atlanta – 159,400.00 – 215,600.00 USD annually

The base salary range for this position is listed above. Your Amazon package will include sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
