You'll bring our golf shops to life by creating eye-catching displays, keeping each space polished and inviting, and curating an exciting mix of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories that players can't wait to take home. Oversee golf merchandising concession to achieve its established mission within the golf operation. Develop and execute general and seasonal merchandise plans, visual presentation guidelines and pricing strategies. Provide day-to-day management, training, development, and guidance to Inventory Control Clerks, Pro Shop Attendants, Retail Buyers, Club Fitting Professionals, and others. Present a diverse and desirable array of golf equipment, apparel, and accessories in line with customer demands. Maintain inventory levels of product appropriate for the season and level of traffic through all golf shops. Maintain an appropriate mix and levels of regular stock and seasonal products, within budgetary guidelines, while maintaining the cost of goods sold percentage. Establish pricing structures for all inventory and special order items in consideration of competitive prices and accepted profit margins. Keeping abreast of industry and competition pricing structures to set prices for maximizing sales potential. Purchase supplies, fixtures, and fitting systems to create a suitable sales environment and promote sales. Manage merchandise budgets, including Open-to-Buy plans, and closely monitor income and expenses. Ensure the guest database includes and tracks special orders and delivery dates. Manage vendor performance to maximize profitability and achieve financial objectives. Develop strategies to ensure guest satisfaction and maximize business performance and profitability. Analyze daily sales reports to determine proper margins are being achieved while studying trends to determine if additional needed sales promotions, markdowns, and clearance sales are needed. Responsible for maintaining an attractive and orderly appearance in and around all golf shops. Conducts accurate quarterly inventory counts and monitors daily spot checks. Monitor safeguarding of inventory and assets to reduce loss from theft, defective or damaged goods, returns, and markdowns. Responsible for submitting the annual AGM Top 100 Golf Shops application. Work with NGBA, AGM, and other industry partners to stay current on industry trends. Train, motivate, and develop golf shop sales staff to ensure effective sales and service performance, techniques, and product knowledge, including sales contests and education on upselling techniques. Work Experience

To be successful as a Golf Merchandiser, you'll need: Preferred member or registered apprentice in good standing with the PGA of America, and must maintain this membership in good standing throughout employment. Must have at least 3-5 years' experience with merchandising and retail buying. Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills. Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 61-70 pounds. What We Value:
