Core Responsibilities
Build and grow your book through networking, referrals, and consultative selling.
Identify risks, tailor coverage, and present comparative options across multiple carriers.
Collaborate with account managers on renewals, endorsements, and certificates.
Maintain documentation and compliance standards in the AMS/CRM.
Engage visibly in community events and local business networks (Hanover, Caroline, Outer Banks, your Virginia locality, as applicable).

Willingness to obtain NC license within the first year.
Role Description This is a full‑time hybrid role for a Commercial Insurance Sales Professional. Physical work location when applicable is in Ruther Glen, Virginia (Ladysmith). The role involves engaging with clients to understand their needs and offer suitable commercial insurance solutions. Daily tasks include identifying potential clients, conducting assessments, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining strong client relationships. The role requires both on‑site work at the Ruther Glen location and the flexibility to work from home.
Qualifications
Proven experience in Insurance Sales and general Sales
Strong knowledge of Insurance and Insurance Brokerage practices
Excellent Customer Service skills, including interpersonal and communication abilities
Self‑motivated with the ability to meet sales targets and manage client relationships effectively
Relevant certifications and/or licenses in insurance, or a willingness to obtain them
Proficiency with technology and insurance management software systems
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
