is hiring a

Senior Estimator / Preconstruction Lead

to own estimating and preconstruction- conceptual budgets through final bid submission -with a clear runway to become

Chief Estimator

and build a team.

Chief Estimator

with support as volume scales What you'll do

Serve as the company's lead estimator, managing all estimating and preconstruction activities. Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and competitive bids for projects from $1M to $100M. Develop and maintain cost databases, historical pricing records, and best practices for future scalability. Perform takeoffs, create scope sheets, and manage

CSI division coverage Run subcontractor outreach, compare bids

apples-to-apples , and complete

bid leveling Identify scope gaps/risks across

architectural, structural, civil, and MEP Prepare clean estimate packages and support precon handoff to operations Help implement/upgrade estimating workflows, templates, and software Required (we will screen for these)

3+ years

estimating experience with a

General Contractor

(commercial and/or multi-family) Proven experience pricing

multi-million-dollar

projects Strong ability to interpret complex architectural, structural, and MEP drawings and specifications. Solid grasp of construction means and methods, materials, and cost trends Strong

Excel

skills for estimating/bid leveling and documentation Comfortable leading the precon process with minimal supervision Preferred (nice-to-have)

Degree in Construction Management/Civil Engineering (or similar) Experience with tools such as

Bluebeam, PlanSwift/OST, Procore

(or similar) Background estimating

ground-up

commercial/multi-family and complex renovations/TI
