
The Specialist, Paid Social - Listings is responsible for the hands on execution of paid social media campaigns that support Nasdaq's Listings business. This role focuses on building, launching, optimizing, and reporting on paid social programs for listed clients to help amplify company news, milestone moments, and ongoing visibility across social platforms. The Specialist will work closely with the Listings, Corporate Communications, and Marketing teams to ensure campaigns run accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with platform best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Execution
Build, launch, and manage paid social campaigns across Meta, LinkedIn, X, and other relevant platforms in support of listed clients' announcements, milestones, and visibility goals. Execute ad trafficking, targeting setup, budget pacing, and creative implementation according to predefined strategies and Listings workflows. Monitor campaign delivery daily, troubleshooting issues such as pacing, audience overlap, rejected ads, or creative fatigue. Apply platform best practices for ad formats, bidding strategies, and optimization settings to drive efficient performance. Optimization & Performance Management
Conduct ongoing optimizations to improve reach, engagement, CTR, cost efficiency, and other key delivery metrics. QA campaigns before and after launch to ensure accuracy in targeting, budgets, URLs, tracking, and creative placements. Maintain structured documentation of optimizations, changes, and performance trends. Reporting & Insights
Pull regular metrics from platform dashboards and assemble weekly/monthly performance summaries for internal teams. Identify tactical insights (e.g., top-performing creative, best-performing audiences, cost trends) for use by Listings and Communications teams. Update and maintain reporting dashboards and campaign trackers. Listings Business Support
Partner with Listings and client service teams to intake new client needs, campaign requests, and supporting assets. Ensure campaigns are launched on schedule in alignment with client milestones such as IPOs, earnings announcements, or corporate updates. Help maintain accurate internal records of spend, timelines, and campaign status for all active listed clients. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Coordinate with creative teams to request assets, manage resizes, and traffic approved creative. Collaborate with Communications and Marketing partners to ensure messaging, targeting, and execution follow brand guidelines. Communicate efficiently about campaign status, required inputs, blockers, and timeline risks. Tools & Platforms
Work hands-on in Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, X Ads, and other social advertising tools. Use internal project management systems, reporting platforms, and Listings workflow tools. Qualifications
3-5 years of hands-on experience managing paid social campaigns, preferably within a B2B, financial services, or agency environment. Proficiency with major paid social platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, X, etc.). Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-moving, multi-client or multi-campaign environment. Ability to analyze performance data and translate it into clear, actionable insights. Strong organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with corporate communications, financial services, or listings-related marketing is a plus. Experience with AI-based optimization or workflow tools is helpful but not required. The base pay range for this role is $88,000 - $154,000. In addition to base salary, Nasdaq provides a generous annual bonus/commission (short-term incentive), and equity (long-term incentive), comprehensive benefits, and opportunity for growth.
