This role is pivotal in the integration of Identity and Access Management (IAM) during Mergers, Acquisitions, and Divestitures (MAD). The Director will ensure that IAM capabilities are aligned with organizational transformation efforts, driving security and compliance for new entities. This position will encompass all aspects of the MAD lifecycle, from due diligence to execution, working closely with various teams to manage integration risks and strategies. The ability to lead direct reports and cross‑functional resources is essential for success in this role.

Accountabilities

Lead IAM activities across the MAD lifecycle, including due diligence, integration planning, and execution.

Assess identity-related risks during acquisition or divestiture evaluations.

Define and implement IAM integration strategies for acquired entities.

Estimate and manage IAM resource requirements to support MAD initiatives.

Set project scopes and timelines for IAM integration efforts.

Oversee identity lifecycle management and compliance processes.

Lead a team and coordinate across IAM, MAD, and enterprise transformation teams.

Collaborate with architects and program managers to embed IAM capabilities.

Requirements

8+ years in IT or cybersecurity, with 5+ years in IAM domains.

Proven experience leading IAM efforts in M&A contexts.

Experience managing IAM operations or platforms.

Ability to manage identity-related projects in complex environments.
