USA Summary We are seeking a dynamic Director of Customer Engagement to lead our team of global program managers and customer-focused teams within the thriving Connectivity and Cloud Solutions business. In this strategic role, you will enhance our relationships with a diverse group of customers while collaborating with Sales and Business Development to secure business opportunities. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing contracts and overseeing commercial agreements
Tracking account profitability and ensuring strong financial performance
Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
Developing and implementing growth-focused account plans
Supervising pricing and quoting processes across Sales, SCM, and customer-focused teams
Identifying customer needs, expectations, and opportunities for business growth
Supporting the Sales and Business Development teams with competitive business quotes
Coordinating new program introductions and product transfers
Ideal Candidate Profile We prefer candidates based in the Houston area, though we welcome applicants from other locations. The ideal candidate will have: A strong background managing customer accounts with a focus on satisfaction and commercial performance
Familiarity with EMS/JDM/ODM business engagement models
Experience in supply chain management principles and practices
A proven track record of achieving revenue and profit targets
Expertise in operational and financial metrics
Significant experience with information and management systems
A minimum of five years in Account Management or Business Development roles
Ability to mentor and motivate diverse teams in dynamic environments
Strategic thinking skills with the ability to manage tactical operations
Strong analytical capabilities for data-driven decision-making
Experience in hardware manufacturing, preferably in EMS
Familiarity with hardware procurement and OEM experience is highly desirable
Physical Demands This position typically involves working in an office environment with extensive computer use.
Extended periods of sitting and focusing on screens are common.
Repetitive manual tasks are frequent.
Some overnight travel may be necessary.
Long hours may be required during peak periods.
Typical Experience A minimum of twelve years of relevant experience is required.
Typical Education A bachelor's degree in a related field is required; an MBA is preferred.
