and play a pivotal role in our commitment to high-quality commercial drywall projects. If you are experienced in commercial drywall estimating and driven by exceptional results, we want to hear from you! Key Responsibilities: Cost Estimation:
Accurately create detailed cost estimates for drywall work on large-scale projects, factoring in both material and labor costs. Proposal Development:
Develop comprehensive bid proposals for drywall contracts, working alongside internal teams to ensure all required documentation is accurately included. Project Coordination:
Collaborate effectively with project managers and design teams to interpret specifications, blueprints, and project requirements, ensuring precise estimates. Cost Analysis:
Conduct thorough cost analyses and feasibility assessments, identifying opportunities for cost savings while maintaining the highest quality standards. Material Takeoffs:
Execute precise material takeoffs and quantification for drywall scopes of work. Vendor Engagement:
Work with subcontractors and suppliers to secure competitive quotes for materials and labor. Contract Evaluation:
Assist in reviewing and negotiating contract terms, including scope, pricing, and change orders. Software Utilization:
Use drywall estimating software (e.g., QuickBid, PlanSwift, OST) to generate estimates, oversee project progress, and maintain accurate cost data. Budget Oversight:
Support project managers in tracking budgets and expenses to ensure alignment with project financial goals. Client Liaison:
Provide expert consultation to clients, addressing any inquiries and concerns related to estimates and drywall work. Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience in estimating
commercial drywall projects . Proficient in drywall estimating software, such as
QuickBid, On-Screen Takeoff (OST), or PlanSwift . Thorough knowledge of drywall materials, techniques, and relevant building codes. Demonstrated ability in material takeoffs, proposal development, and cost analysis. Strong skills in interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and project specifications. Excellent communication and negotiation abilities. Aptitude for managing multiple estimates and meeting deadlines. Detail-oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy. Familiarity with the commercial construction project lifecycle and procedures. A degree in Construction Management or a related field is a plus but not necessary.
