Senior Estimator - Commercial and Residential Construction

Senior Estimator - Commercial and Residential General Contractor Join our dynamic team as a Senior Estimator, where you will play a critical role in preparing and managing comprehensive estimates for significant commercial and residential construction projects. This essential position requires a thorough understanding of project plans, proficiency in quantity takeoffs, and the capability to solicit and evaluate subcontractor bids while crafting detailed cost proposals. Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, and architects to ensure precise budgeting and effective cost management from the start to the finish of each project. If you have strong analytical abilities, expertise in estimating software, and deep knowledge of construction methods and materials, we encourage you to apply! The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in estimating for commercial and residential general contractors, with a proven history of producing accurate and competitive bids. Key Responsibilities: Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure cost accuracy. Conduct regular quantity takeoffs and procure material pricing. Develop detailed cost estimates and budgets for project review. Present estimates to clients and stakeholders clearly and effectively. Diligently review and assess subcontractor bids. Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial and residential construction. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred. Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Proficient in estimating software. Relocation assistance may be available for highly qualified candidates.
