Job Description
SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Employee Relations Representative serves as the primary point of contact for employee relations issues and supports the HR team. This role is responsible for investigating workplace concerns, advising managers and employees on HR policies, and ensuring fair and consistent application of company practices. The Employee Relations Representative works collaboratively across departments to promote employee engagement, resolve conflicts, and mitigate risk while aligning with organizational values and objectives.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the first point of contact for employee relations inquiries and workplace concerns.
Conduct thorough and impartial investigations into complaints, grievances, and policy violations.
Partner with managers to address performance management, disciplinary actions, and workplace conflicts.
Provide guidance to employees and supervisors on HR policies, practices, and employment law compliance.
Assist in developing and delivering training sessions on employee relations, conflict resolution, and respectful workplace practices.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of employee relations cases and outcomes.
Support organizational initiatives that promote employee engagement, retention, and a positive workplace culture.
Collaborate with HR and legal teams to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
Prepare reports and analyze employee relations trends to identify opportunities for improvement.
Work in partnership with other HR departments on departmental initiatives.
Perform other HR-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
2+ years of experience in employee relations, HR generalist, or related HR function
Knowledge of employment law, workplace investigations, and HR best practices.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
Pay Range: $70,500 to $80,000/yr
