Organize and oversee the daily operations of the company. Ensure that the business unit is well-coordinated and productive by managing procedures and coaching the people involved within operations. **DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES** include, but not limited to:* Responsible for the business unit’s operations capacity planning, resources and management.* Support business unit growth while continuing to build the skill sets and lead a strong team of people with cross-functional responsibilities, including training matrix.* Coordination of manufacturing/ Production efficiency.* Manage production scheduling, and total manufacturing cost.* Work with GM on establishing an annual manufacturing budget, including the capital equipment budget.* Responsible for aspects of the business unit’s operational performance results including the achievement of Lean Scorecard targets, Materials plan targets, and other operational scorecard initiatives (including FG Kan Ban, 5S).* Coach team members and continue to support the Creation Core Values while developing a strong culture.* Provide support for key customer accounts including developing relationships with some customer executives and resolving customer issues.* Serve as a member of the Business Unit’s Leadership Team (LT) and play a key role in the achievement of the Company’s Vision and Strategy within the business unit.* Collaborate with other Functional teams in the establishment of procedures as required by the appropriate standards/ regulations, OEM contractual obligations and customer requirements, in ensuring our continuing compliance.* Manage the Health and Safety and Environmental functions to drive best practices within the Business Unit.* Support other areas of the company with respect to joint initiatives.**QUALIFICATIONS:*** Must have relevant post-secondary business education degree or equivalent.* Previous experience working in an Operations role, minimum 10 years related Operations and leadership experience.* Process engineering education, training, and background would be an asset.* Entrepreneurial, innovative, flexible team player with a good business acumen, high degree of personal initiative, strong leadership and people skills, and effective presentation and communication abilities.* A results-oriented and “make it happen” type person, who is not afraid to get into the game and do whatever needs to be done for the team to win.* Experience in the Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) industry or related industry is required.* Must be driven by high degree of integrity and professional standards.* Understanding of Lean, T.O.C., continuous improvement, quality and related topics with relevant work experience.* Materials background would be an asset.* Superior communication skills, both written and verbal**Working Environment Conditions***Physical Demands*
The incumbent must be fit and possess sufficient strength to safely maneuver around archived materials up to 25lbs without injury to themselves or others.*Mental Demands*
The position involves an above average degree of attention and minimal mental stress in an environment where interruptions may be ongoing.*Working Conditions*
The working environment is generally clean; however, the incumbent may be exposed to occasionally dust. The incumbent is required to wear safety clothing and gears while working in safety sensitive areas.
